Tune down to C. The predominant chord is Em. The finger picking pattern is not too difficult to make out, or a passable strummed version can be played by hitting the top string then slowly strumming (slower than a normal strum - so you get individually plucked strings) the 2nd, 3rd , 4th and 5th strings. Then pluck a the 'central' strings 3&4 then the bottom E string. Because of Nick's virtuoso work over the top of Roy's playing, the effect is one of struming although Roy is finger-picking in the background.
From Em move to C shape and pluck the 2nd string (at 3rd fret), then this second string should be hit at the 2nd fret. Then return to Em, hitting the open top string. These chords/shapes are used for most of the first part of the song.
When the "Woman who for heavens sake" bit is sang the following chord should be played...
(from the top) open, open, 7th, 8th, open, open.
In the last "Songs Of Love" section of the song, standard G, C, D and Em chords are used.
