Android phones
The history of my Android phones:
- Motorola g04, 2024, Android 14, currently the primary phone. This feels almost identical to Nokia 3.4. Otherwise too early to say anything else, except that the camera is way better. This so far the cheapest phone I've bought (cost 80 euros as new with 2 year warranty). I don't expect many software upgrades (learned that from earlier Motorolas).
- Nokia 3.4, 2020, Android 12, currently a spare phone. This provided good value for the money. Multiple Android version upgrades was a cool thing. Too bad HMD stopped making these under Nokia brand.
- Nokia 6, 2018, Android 9 ("Pie"), currently a spare phone. This has nice mechanics and a good camera. This got at least one Android major version upgrade which was nice.
- Motorola Moto G 4th Generation, 2016, Android 7 ("Nougat"). This was always a spare phone as it felt too big and I kept using G3. The software support period was ridicilously short on this as well. Disposed of in 2024.
- Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation, 2015, Android 6 ("Marshmallow"). One of the best phones I've used. Ideal mechanics/size. Disposed of in 2024.
